No. The vertical stiffener piece is an integral part of the soft top's design. It provides the necessary support for the side window panel to which it's attached, and a concurrent retention function for that side of the rear window panel, also.
Not sure where you got these windows, but the black tab version was deemed obsolete by Stellantis years ago, and the green tab version is what should have been provided. Even my 2021 JL came with green tabs and they really do make a difference, especially on the rear corners. I don't know who your source is, but if they are a MOPAR retailer, they should have given you the correct windows. For the exorbitant prices on these things, I would emphatically insist that they replace them with the green tab version. Hope you get this sorted out and best of luck.
I got it at JustforJeeps and that is very good to know, I'll contant them today. When I replaced my old black tabs top with my first green tabs top years ago I do think i remember the green tabs being more rigid and difficult to pop in. Thanks so much for letting me know!

Thank you! And yes that should be what they're sending but they haven't arrived yet. Coming straight from Mopar so I feel like they've got to be the green tabs.
