I guess it depends. Just because you married someone doesn't mean you knew exactly what you were "buying into". Some hide their true selves for years and are really good at it. Even if they aren't sociopaths, do you really know someone after a few years of dating? Especially if you never lived together before marriage? Hell I've been married to my wife for 25 years this year and she'll still surprise me at times. I don't think I know EXACTLY what to expect on any given day. I agree with the premise, those unhappily married but too dumb to go types though. Why constantly bitch about anything you aren't actively trying to improve?You know I never understand why people complain about their significant other in some ways. They knew exactly what they were "buying into" when they said "I do".
They accepted it then but later on they want to complain and it just blows my mind. I guess I'll just never understand people in general.
