I have read is several places that starting in 2025 all Jeeps will have some sort of EV component. Stellantis has also stated that they may have to stop shipping ICE vehicles to the 14 states that blindly follow California vehicle emissions laws.

The one in the photo? That's just a 4xe. Possibly the smaller font of the clickbait-ish "Hurricane 500" gives the illusion of a longer hood.

That pic made the rounds here a few months ago, but no one confirmed what's under the hood by lifting it up, or crawling under the chassis to get a better view. We're still curious, though. 👍

Yeah, I guess time will tell. If that Hurricane motor is as good as the rumor mill suggests, it would be awesome in the Wrangler platform. But not a cool as the 392.

The Bronco didn't change much over it's lifespan either. The mini Bronco is a re-skinned Escape, nothing impressive there. Jeep already has a bunch of lesser models to choose from.
Now I would like to see a stripped down Wrangler, built for abuse. Something with visors that don't break and functional without a computer network running the locks. Give us all the beef and hold the onions.
Maybe something like this???

There will always be something better next year. Wait until 2025 and you will be wondering what 2026 will have. Wait until 2026 and you will wonder what 2027 will have. What you won't have is time enjoying your Jeep.
Very true and at my age don’t want to wait very long.

The only known update/change for '25 is the 4xe and the 4xe version of the Gladiator, yet no one knows what exactly those changes will entail. You said you weren't looking at those, so you should be fine on getting an ICE '24.

As someone else has said in other posts, the only thing guaranteed to change is the price, and that will go up.

They already refreshed the interior for the '24, so there might be some minor tweaks, probably along the same line as when they eliminated the interior lights rocker switch on the '23 models. Things you might not even notice or care.

They will most likely change the packages around although I doubt they change the features themselves, just how they bundle them and what comes standard in each trim level.

The ONLY reason I would wait for an ICE '25 model is if you are very hard set on a particular color and are willing to wait and see if it pops during that ordering period.

If I were to order an ICE only this time around, I would probably get the XR package, or whatever they are calling it, the hard top (no soft top) and the half doors. You can only get the soft top OR the half doors as it is a space issue and the half doors are 4000 times harder to get aftermarket than the soft top. I would probably ask the dealer to order me the soft top separately and see if they couldn't add it to the loan or something.

Jeep Wrangler JL Rumors re: 2025 Wrangler model 1715974533934-g8

This Wrangler appears to have a longer hood to accommodate an inline six.
Does appear to have a bit more gap between the front fender and the cowl.

EDIT: maybe not... looks the same proportion as the 20th anniversary 4xe...

With 3 more joining for 24 it’s up to 18 states + DC.

I'm considering ordering a Rubicon X Unlimited but wondering if there are any rumors out about what might change in 2025's model. Also wondering how much longer I can wait to order a 2024.
Minimal changes if anything at all. Refresh was just done for 2024, and total redo is apparently a few years off.

If you can get the Jeep you want exactly how you want it now as a 2024 I would not wait. They change things from year-to-year. If they've got the color and everything else you want now, order it now.

In 2023 ordering stopped in March, I believe. Surprised ordering this late is still possible. Change over should occur in June/July.

I was hoping for a diesel option in 2025 😂 if not that then at least give us a 5.7 Hemi option. Would be nice to have a truck that sounded like a truck and towed like a truck but also got more than 9mpg
