With ourpromotional offering we have learned so much about the market from this forum & what people are looking for ( Check our page, I dont think I can actually state the offering on general but its aggressive). One thing I have found is there isn't a good one stop shop for news around the brand, upcoming trims, limited offerings, etc.

If you see a news article, hear a rumor, or just think something might be happening.... Lets hear it! Lets discuss it!

I have had many questions on the 20th anniversary Rubi 392 & it made me think, " there needs to be a spot we can all put our hard work in researching the brand in one spot to discuss it." So heres THAT THREAD

FCA/Stellantis keeps most of the new product/limited offering information to themselves. We as dealers usually on hear about it 2 months prerelease and most of the time the month it drops. I believe this is to keep information leaks to a minimum. Lets make this an easy spot for people to see whats going on with the brand.

My unsubstantiated guess is that there will be no rumored "mid cycle refresh". I think the products on display at the EJS are a testament to that. It seems that Jeep does random roll outs lately on things such as the XR package. Nothing that has happened/changed to the JL seems to follow any year models. AT best there will still be incremental changes during the life span of the JL. That's just my opinion based on what I've seen so far with this model, the supply issues and the new ownership of Jeep.

I really hope thats not the case but Im coming to believe the same bit of information myself. Hopefully somebody posts a really good "underground" news site, or something that sheds some light where I havent seen information from Jeep themselves.

Lol its also hard to write out a ton of "news" articles when very little news and updates are actually hitting the market.

There's nothing. No articles, no spy photos. The new inline 6 would require a new generation in my opinion. The most you will hear about a "mid cycle refresh" is nothing more than the rumors you find posted here.

I would prefer that the JL survive for quite some time before any major changes. The aftermarket still doesn't support this model like the JK.

Are you having customers sitting on the fence waiting for some major changes?

For a lack of a better way to phrase it yes sir, thats what I have ran into. I know in the past, I have found tidbits of information not really posted elsewhere here so who knows, may be a shot in the dark that hits. If not.... Thats that lol.

I think with the change over to Peugeot (Stellantis) ownership, along with the other big money projects like the Wagoneers and Cherokees, there isn't much left over for the Wrangler. And why fix what isn't broken? Sales are through the roof, they can't build them fast enough and Wrangler has the highest resale in the automotive market, period. Just change the colors up now and then is all they need to do. Maybe some different cloth upholstery. Bronco, so far, is not a threat and has not caused Wrangler sales to slip. If Wrangler sales numbers dropped and Bronco increased, then things would be different.

So, I would like to see weather resistant upholstery and flooring, and a non leather covered steering wheel. That's about it.

Curious to know if anyone that had attended the Jeep Easter Safari actually laid their eyes on the 20th Anniversary Rubicon 392. I had not seen anyone post info and/or photos online from the event.

Also curious if anyone in the know has any inside information as to if/when this vehicles will make it to production.

I still wish they made a basic Rubicon Without all the luxury barge stuff they’ve loaded them down with. Let the luxury Jeep be a Sahara and the Rubicon be a factory off rorder. Rubber floor mats, vinyl seats, full hose out interior, crank windows, waterproof dash with a factory winch, heavy skids and bumpers. Every Rubi I’ve seen for a long time is loaded to the gills with “premium” interior stuff that will quickly get funky if anyone actually uses it in the mud, etc…

I was wondering this same thing. I was at EJS last week and drove by the Jeep display at least twice each day, and stopped in a couple times. Nope, the 30th Anniversary concept was nowhere to be seen. All the other concepts were there. One of the pretty girls that called herself a "product marketing specialist" at the booth said it "didn't make it onto the truck" but I'm not sure she really knew what I was asking about. She did give me a couple T-Shirts though...

The noticeable change for a mid-cycle refresh is going to be UConnect 5. The larger screen is going to force a redesign of the center dash. I suspect that they are behind schedule on that as the wireless chips inside the new head unit are hard to come by right now in the volumes that FCA (and other manufacturers that use the same chips) need. Stamping out a new plastic grille is easy, that could come at any time though they may delay that to coincide with the new dash.

Where's the credible source for this information, the "mid cycle refresh" and the Uconnect 5?

To add the screen of UC5, all they would have to do is redesign the center stack a little.

A friend of mine is a project manager for the firm that provides the wireless chips and the boards for UConnect as well as "brand X" similar head units. The shutdown in Shanghai is a big deal for these chips going forward, there's only two plants in the world that make these. They ain't producing at capacity. I agree that the new head unit only means a relatively slight redesign of the center stack, but since any changes are being made the designers get a little latitude to tweak other stylistic elements. That said, if they are short head units, the timeline is going to slip. Maybe calling it a "mid-cycle refresh" is stretching it.

Tell you what would make me trade in on a new Jeep... that 3.0T in a Rubicon!

I really hope the 20th anniversary rubicon is real and will be orderable as they described it (mopar skids, on board air, 37's, etc).

Other than that I've seen someone here say that the armorlite flooring is going to be an option next year. That would be a great option for a lot of people.
