I put 35s on my Rubicon and I did not put any kind of lift on it I only put a leveling kit on the front which changed the rake an inch and a half so to make it more level. I also went with the Cooper Discover AT3 xlt because I liked the aggressive tread but I also was doing a lot of highway driving and they come with a 65,000 mile tread life warranty

Looking to possibly go with 35s on my Rubicon and would appreciate any and all feedback; pros/cons/which ones to go with/etc.

No lift and keeping factory wheels. 35x11.5 tire.

Probably Toyo or Nitto?

Using the same tires year round with tread comparable to factor Rubicon. Driving is primarily city and highway.

Much appreciated.

I haven’t put them on the jlr 2dr yet, but I had the nitto trail grapplers on my jkr2dr and they were great, fine with the 4.10 gearing, I currently just installed the nittos on my gladiator, really improved the ride and handling. The only thing with the jkr was 2 1/2”lift and AEV wheels which I will probably do on the jlr and a leveling kit.

That was originally my intent too on my 2020 JLURD. The factory wheel width was too narrow per BFG specs so I ended up doing wheels too. No lift, no rub, slightly harsher ride (but my tire pressure is 45psi, still adjusting it down. I put the KO3's on mine.

45 lbs. is too high start around 34 lbs ,may have to go up or down a couple lbs.

315/17/70 bfg ko2s on stock Rubicon wheels with no lift (yet) on 21 JLURD. Load range e. No concern with tire width as it fit specs and no rubbing even flexed. Have aired down and run off road (rocks etc) no issues. Good on highway too and in snow. Want the lift for extra breakover clearance.

@Jeepster21 - here is a comparison sheet I created that may help. There are multiple tabs sorted by different attributes:

What happened to the nitto 35x11.50r17 c- rated, all of the 315s are actually too wide for the factory 7.5” wide wheel, although some of the tire outlets say they are, because most of them are actually 35x12.50r17.

Not sure, I collected as many different 35" tires that I could and put them on the sheet. When I look at Nitto's site there are no 315/70/17 in Load Range C, only Load Range D or E.

I am running Kanati Trail Hogs 315/70/17 on OEM wheels with no issues. I like the slightly tighter grip on the bead when I air them down

I love the way it fills the wheel wells a bit more!

Can't wait to clean it up and take it for a test drive!!!
