That picture of you and your lady is just too cute!If I added Moab wheels and Rubi 33” KO2’s to my Sahara, do I still count as stock?
Thanks! That was the day our new Wrangler arrived. First thing I did was remove the freedom panels and install the car seat. That’s pure happiness right there! That picture of you and your lady is just too cute!
I kind of agree. I have a stock Sahara 2018 JL and love it. I have been thinking about a couple of things lately though.I'm sure I'm in the minority on this forum, but I really like the stock Wranglers - all the trim levels.
I have a Sport S and ordered the MOPAR Performance Rock Rails, sill guards, and fuel cover from the factory, and added the Sunrider for hard top, so it's not quite stock but almost.
The reasons I want to keep it that way: I don't have to worry about problems with my warranty (I purchased the lifetime one); I get the performance (braking, acceleration) it was designed for; and even though everyone here says you shouldn't even think about the gas mileage if you buy a Jeep, I really like the MPG I'm getting (26 on the highway on a recent trip, hand-calculated).
Don't make fun of my stock Jeep and I won't make fun of your mods!
Love the rims!If you squint from a distance it still looks sort of stock.....

I love the Bestop Sunrider for Hardtop addition. It's a mod that doesn't affect weight or performance and it makes the open air accessible almost instantly.I kind of agree. I have a stock Sahara 2018 JL and love it. I have been thinking about a couple of things lately though.
1. The Bestop sunrider soft top addition
2. possibly larger tires when my stock K02's wear out
Any insight or suggestions?
Too late. The GPDA grab handles and the Rokblokz mud flaps are arriving today...Uh oh...
...quick, cut up your credit cards and hand your wallet to your wife before it's to late!!
Trust me!!
IMHO... if you add anything that can be found on new JL on a dealers lot*, then it's an accessory, not a modification, and therefore qualifies as stock. That being said I still consider the Sunrider an accessory rather than a mod... but that's pushing the boundaries. If I added Moab wheels and Rubi 33” KO2’s to my Sahara, do I still count as stock?

Criminy... just tallied up the list of what I've put into my 'stock' Rubi and it's over $2,400...
Yep!!Criminy... just tallied up the list of what I've put into my 'stock' Rubi and it's over $2,400...
There's still almost $1,900 on the "waiting to buy till I'm out of the hole" list...
And none of this includes a lift, wheels, or tires (I'm good with stock on those).
Does this mean I'm not part of the Stock Wranglers club anymore...???
