Having come from an HID Xenon vehicle and living in a cold weather climate, I can tell you the stock Halogens are just fine. Plus they melt the snow and ice. To each their own, Jeep on °lllllll°
Believe me I get it and I understand it's not actually a baby battery, I just didn't think it was necessary to do all of that but I will read through that thread thank you.
while I understand in theory what you're saying, I have heard that there's no need to do that. Perhaps someone else can chime in who is smarter than me? Also where do I find the red terminal for the baby battery without removing a bunch of items in the engine bag?
why and how do you "isolate the baby battery" anyway? I also have an 18 and use a tender on occasion, but I just hook it up to the main and haven't had any issues yet.
If I leave my house I'm carrying. Not because I'm a vigilante but because I want to protect myself and my family. And I pray I never have to use it. Always carry on my person, aiwb, unless I'm somewhere with metal detectors, then it stays in the jeep, but only for a short periods of time and not...
Been saying this since 2018, my halogens work just fine most days and even better in winter snow/ice driving! And I had HID/Xenon/LED prior to my Wrangler. If I need more light I have LED spots.
I’m not a fan of the KO2’s in wet weather. I have a Sahara with takeoffs, and I’ve owned quite a few vehicles with many different tires. The KO2’s are fine when dry, good in mud, great in snow, but horrible on wet pavement. I’ve never seen so much slippage and fishtailing from such a light...
Don’t forget one of the benefits of a 5 tire rotation is you don’t have to use jack stands if you don’t want to. Take off the spare, jack up one corner, swap wheel and tire. Jack up next corner, rinse and repeat until all you have left is putting the next spare on the rear carrier!
Looking for a stock front JLU bumper, prefer steel but will accept plastic. Western Suburbs of Chicagoland but willing to travel to the city, Wisconsin, Indiana or even Michigan. Don’t need the fog lights but willing to take them, currently have halogens. TIA!
