Nobody makes a 2.0 but Mopar.
Are you stating nobody sells new 2.0 engines but mopar? If so, you are correct. Companies do sell remanufactured 2.0 mopar engines. Do your homework and you can find them.

Haha yea haven’t looked at the price but I’d imagine it’s out of my budget. Would be amazing however

ok thanks I’ll definitely check this out
You'd be surprised, a buddy was looking for a 2.0t replacement and couldn't source anywhere but the dealer...for $7500. A used 5.7 hemi complete can be had for $3500. A hemi swap might be cheaper or at least even money once you source ecu/wiring/adapters etc.

Titan doesn’t do modern engines at all.

update. Just got the call from the dealership a bit earlier. They said valves were “melted” and so was part of the head. I haven’t put eyes on it yet but I’m going to tomorrow. When I asked about the warranty he told me Chrysler said that this just doesn’t happen and that it was running to lean so they aren’t covering it. Also when I asked for the quote to replace the engine he said with parts labor etc a little over 19 thousand bucks! I can buy a crate motor from mopar for a little over 7 thousand or a new cylinder head with valves for just shy of a thousand. I’m gonna head in tomorrow and see what’s up. Also I’m gonna call Chrysler and see if I can get the warranty honored.

Well, the dealer is correct - those plugs are toast. Wow! I can’t imagine how only three of the four cooked like that. Only thing I can think of is fuel injectors just kept pouring fuel into three cylinders. I would definitely check into the super chip you have in there, see what it is programmed to. Only a partial tear down is going to determine what happened here.

Best of luck.
He said all 4 plugs were toast, the one with a good electrode was for reference.

It would be interesting to find out why it was running so lean. Did the PCM croak? Dealer should be able to download last minute or more of engine management settings. I know you said your tuner does not change fuel settings, but maybe it did. I’m sure if the plugs and head are melted, the pistons and probably the block are also cooked.

I don't know if you have e-torque, but a replacement engine is about $5500. I definitely wouldn't give the dealership any money.

As much as I hate those slimeballs, you may need to threaten legal action if you are actually in the right here. This sounds like a really shitty excuse for a lack of knowledge on the dealership's part.

I second the recommendation for sourcing a take-out 2.0 engine (or other) from a shop that does swaps. Dakota customs is a good place to check. Would be interesting to compare cost of 2.0 replacement versus something more interesting.

Maybe a stretch, but I would look into any powertrain warranties from Superchips that might be relevant here. I found old documentation referencing a 2 year powertrain warranty, but didn’t see terms. You might be able to dig up more online or talk to them.

Reading just a little about Superchips, it sounds like a PCM swap might have been required. Also, sounds like you’re not ruling out engine tunes by a previous owner. If those have occurred, I suspect Jeep will continue to fight warranty coverage.

Sorry for your bad luck.I can't say what is best for you ,but I would be looking ....HARD.....for a good salvage engine.A direct replacement. When I saw those plugs, that would have been the end of my diagnostics.

Tuner?? I hate to play the Devil's Advocate, but if there is a tuner involved, and detected, then warranty is out the door. We have known this for many many years. It is now up to the OP to prove the tuner wasn't the cause of the issues.
