I guess @ORACLElights was closed on 12/24. I got the email saying mine had been shipped, along with the tracking # Wednesday afternoon. However, as of now USPS tracking still says they haven’t made it to the USPS facility. Sure wish they used UPS or Fed Ex instead of USPS. I assume now that they’re still sitting in the Oracle shipping department. Disappointing because I’m in a neighboring state and only about a 6 hour drive away.

I got an e-mail from @ORACLElights Wednesday afternoon with the USPS tracking # saying they’d been shipped. When I check the tracking # it says the post office in Metairie, LA hasn’t received them yet. I suspect that they have a batch ready to mail but that they failed to do so before closing on Wednesday and they were closed Thursday - Sunday. Hopefully they’ll be on their way Monday. Kind of annoying that they’d print the label but not mail them The same day.

Yes, we were closed on Christmas Eve haha. The shipping method was up to you at your checkout screen, but all group buy orders (and most pre-orders from befroe 12-23) were already in the carrier's possession at COB on Wednesday. Labels are printed and immediately stuck to pacakges to be picked up same-day. They have been slow with updating their tracking online.

I guess all the group buy orders haven't been shipped? I'm still waiting on shipping notification.

Installed them on my daughter’s JLU today. They are a tremendous improvement, and the design on these things is awesome, right up until the wiring part. Then it seems like they just said screw it. As others have stated, the wiring could have been longer. Another inch or two couldn't have hurt (that’s what she said...). The connectors are absolute junk! Had lots of trouble sliding the wiring connector coming from the lights into the splice adapter. Then, the passenger side was loose, couldn’t get the lights to stay lit all the time. One connector finally broke, and not a single store near me had them in stock. Had to go with a different style to make it work. Finally, got it done, but it sucks I had to spend more time and money to finish the project. Hopefully they improve the wiring aspect.

Thanks for the follow up. I received the email from Oracle that my order shipped this morning. I was hoping they'd ship before Christmas, but it's no big deal.

I‘ve had a USPS tracking number since mid afternoon on Wednesday 12/23. As of today (6:00 P.M. 12/28), USPS still says that they haven’t received the package from you. I sent Oracle an email asking for an update this morning and was told by your customer service department that USPS takes 3-5 days to update shipping/tracking (news to me as my experience has been with electronic scanning, tracking is updated instantaneously). I am one state away from you and about a 6 hour drive. If you can confirm that my package left Oracle last Wednesday but wasn’t scanned by USPS, perhaps you could have USPS trace it? I just want my lights!

This is 100% USPS. I have orders from 1 1/2 hours away from me and it has been 2 weeks and counting. They missed Christmas for sure. My wife had a package shipped on the 3rd and just received it from New Jersey and we are only in RI. I could of walked there faster.

If the USPS doesn’t cut the mustard, there are better options available. I do almost 100% of my non-grocery shopping on-line. I find Fed-Ex to be the most dependable followed by UPS with USPS being a distant third. However, USPS tracked packages have been dependable the vast majority of the time. If they do go errant or get stuck somewhere, you can tell where as their scanning and tracking is accurate in my experience.

Not in disagreement with you at all. I inquired about my packages because they were gifts. I was told that scanning is not being done to save time due to the back log. Most of our packages showed no movement at all including the pick up scan. I am not saying the lights where shipped on time etc but based on my own experience I do feel this most likely is all due to USPS at this time. I also paid extra for priory mail and it still showed no scanning. Something is up with USPS for sure right now. Anyway I hope you get your lights soon and I am not be argumentative at all just sharing my issues with USPS during Corvid and the Holiday time frame.

Received my package Christmas Eve. Priority Mail USPS - 2 day. As KansasJL noted it is added to the pile of install items... (hitch, engine bay lights, and if they arrive pod lights for pillars)

+1 on the Posi-Taps being the best connector for supplemental wiring connections that need to endure. I've used them for years, to good effect, for OPE repairs and on motorcycle projects.

T-taps are what you get from Chinese vendors hawking their wares on eBay. And Amazon, come to that.

As for prolonged transit periods and allegations of parcels being tendered, or not, to the USPS by vendors, it is occurring pretty broadly. I've written off an accessory order that disappeared into the ether in early October. A Christmas gift for my wife, coincidentally the priciest one, had been stuck in a postal service distribution center since early December. Just today did we receive a shipping update, suggesting delivery this Thursday. There are other instances, but recalling every one accomplishes little right now (and in some cases, it was indeed the vendor and not the Post Office who didn't perform.)

As just suggested above by T, I too am going to take a casual view of things, moving forward. They'll reconcile themselves when they do.

I hear you and agree. However, what throws salt in the wound is that Oracle has had 100% of my money since 11/10/20, and I’m ok with that, plus they hit their projected ship date pretty closely, but to be told that my order was shipped, only to find out five days later that it’s apparently fallen into the black hole known as the USPS and all I can now do is sit and wait indefinitely, hoping that someday the package will appear on my doorstep, is hard to swallow. The seller is responsible for you getting your merchandise regardless of whether their chosen carrier performs or not.
