I know there's at least one member here who had a clutch fail on him and his Jeep burnt down on the side of the highway I would say that counts but it's never happened to me personally.Poll: Has your JL left you stranded? please explain
2021 JLURD geared on 37's with 48k miles. We have been all over Colorado and Idaho, to Alaska and back, Moab, Sand Hollow, and towing a trailer half the time.
I’m curious what the issues were?Mine has left me stranded twice.
First time was at a rest stop in middle of nowhere central California. I filled up on gas and tried to the turn the Jeep back on and it wouldn't turn on. Just got a bunch of dash lights and service messages. I had to "Trains, Planes and Automobiles" myself home until I figured out why it died. After a few days I made it back to the Jeep, fixed it and drove it 3 hours back home.
Second time was about an hour outside Dallas, Texas. I was stuck there for 2 days until it was drivable enough to make it home. I then drove it home to California in 2 days and spent the next 3 months troubleshooting the why of it all.
Still love my Jeep though and have no intentions of getting rid of it any time soon.
First time I had blown the N3 fuse on the high amp fuse array. Second time was a leak in my clutch hydraulics mixed with bad grease causing the clutch not to disengage properly.I’m curious what the issues were?
Well, it hasn't left us stranded and it gets used. It doesn't go to the mall or back and forth to work.
Ridiculous. 45 days for an o2 sensor? F Stellantis. Not stranded per se but was out of service for 45 days due to an o2 issue. 2024 jlur
All the O2 sensors replaced X2 and ecm. First they said it just needed a software update. Then that didn’t do it then the o2 sensors that didn’t do it then the ecm that didn’t do it and finally the o2 sensors again.Ridiculous. 45 days for an o2 sensor? F Stellantis.
