I know there's at least one member here who had a clutch fail on him and his Jeep burnt down on the side of the highway I would say that counts but it's never happened to me personally.

Mine (named Bella) ran perfectly until it caught on fire. Mine wasn't a clutch (mine's an auto) but I think it overheated to the point that the engine warped and released some oil or fuel or something. All I know is when it overheated it went from normal to the top of the red instantly. I got to the side as quickly as I could but it was around 10-20 seconds before I could get over. The steam started coming out and then the flames. 35 minutes later the firetruck showed up and put it out.

I replaced it with a 392 (named Jessie)so at least there's that.

Mine has left me stranded twice.

First time was at a rest stop in middle of nowhere central California. I filled up on gas and tried to the turn the Jeep back on and it wouldn't turn on. Just got a bunch of dash lights and service messages. I had to "Trains, Planes and Automobiles" myself home until I figured out why it died. After a few days I made it back to the Jeep, fixed it and drove it 3 hours back home.

Second time was about an hour outside Dallas, Texas. I was stuck there for 2 days until it was drivable enough to make it home. I then drove it home to California in 2 days and spent the next 3 months troubleshooting the why of it all.

Still love my Jeep though and have no intentions of getting rid of it any time soon.

I wrote about this in another thread- I was going to go to the grocery store Tuesday but neither of my key fobs would unlock the doors. I unlocked the door with the actual key and set off the alarm so I didn't mess with it any further, I took my wife's car to the store. I tried several times throughout the day with no luck. Yesterday I was going to try troubleshooting it and the fobs worked just fine.

Kind of.

Lockers failed twice, ended up swapping to aftermarket axles. Known sensor issue.

Broke pitman arm, had to tow it out via steering knuckles.

Rear sway bar tore axially. Basically exceeded OEM twist rating. Its a tinny thin tube. Replaced with Antirock.

Rolled it on its side, had to have 3 jeeps and winches triangulate me back up. That might have been user error though :)

Plus various minor aliments like, broken sway bar end links, steering stabilizer, trashed bushings etc

I’m curious what the issues were?

First time I had blown the N3 fuse on the high amp fuse array. Second time was a leak in my clutch hydraulics mixed with bad grease causing the clutch not to disengage properly.

Ridiculous. 45 days for an o2 sensor? F Stellantis.
All the O2 sensors replaced X2 and ecm. First they said it just needed a software update. Then that didn’t do it then the o2 sensors that didn’t do it then the ecm that didn’t do it and finally the o2 sensors again.
