Are you talking about the very top of the rear cargo area?
My whole top of the soft top isnāt super tight but it doesnāt flap around at highway speeds either. Mineās 6 years old.
You should post what your priorities are. Wet traction. Noise. Offroad capability. Etc.
As said above, I like KO2ās for everything. But if I were looking for something more road oriented, I may look at something like Bridgestone Revoās. Or Michelin AT2.
Mineās not an adjustment issue. Iāve already adjusted the cable, per my original post. Itās definitely getting hung up somewhere. Like there is a kink in the line.
I just dropped mine off this morning. They said a day, maybe two. Now theyāre saying in order to do it correctly, they need it for 4 days. What a joke. This was after they showed me 4.5 hours allocated for the job. (Hours, not days).
Iām going to assume theyāre backed up with other repairs and...
Last few weeks, Iāve been having issues with the e-brake releasing.
The handle functions just fine. And the brake holds just fine.
When I engage then disengage the Ebrake, then start off, I can tell the brake is engaged and dragging. The handle also has visible slop at the down position...
I am getting the recall done next week. If I donāt like it, Iāll have a Centerforce unit installed. Iām already out of warranty so no biggie (2018).
Congrats on the Jeep. Welcome to the manual club! The way a Jeep was made to be built and driven š
As long as you donāt live near @JINO you should be fine š
My soft top has had around 4-5ā of snow on top with no problem. Of course the type of snow matters as well. We typically get the fluffy dry snow here in Utah.
Iām always curious how people calculate ā50/50ā city/hwy driving. Is it by miles? By hours? And how do you keep track?
Anytime you start adding in city mileage, MPG comparison has almost zero relevance. My city miles, living in a suburb, are vastly different to folks in downtown. Which is...
I love my JL but if I didnāt off-road, itād get the boot.
And I donāt see how a Wrangler is fun to drive on-road and a GC is boring? Major body roll, loud, anemic. If anything, itās the other way around.
5.7 GC and have fun.
