You seriously need to can the sales pitch--guys like you leave a bad taste in everyone's mouth regarding Amsoil on forums everywhere. You probably should be forced to register as a vendor at this point since nearly every post you have made to date has the word "Amsoil" in it. You are not fooling anyone...
What sales pitch? I was just clarifying what you stated about AMSOIL. Had you not mentioned AMSOIL, I wouldn't have posted. And wanted to re-emphasize that the factory warranty only covers defective factory parts and that the new and improved API SP is available.

News flash--nothing needed to be clarified--it was a DIRECT quote from the Amsoil PDS. Of course, YET AGAIN, here is another example of you making a post with the word Amsoil, defending Amsoil, or promoting Amsoil. You seriously are not fooling anyone with your motives.

Yeah, Amsoil may be great and all, but I'm not paying $80 for a five quart jug of any oil. I don't care if it meets Lockheed-Martin and Boeing specs.

I wouldn't either. That is why I pay under $25 for 5 quarts of 100% synthetic AMSOIL.

Yeah, OK, I guess that was their "Signature Series" I was looking at, but I'm still not seeing it for less than $40 online for an even gallon jug, and that's still too rich for my blood. I'm used to paying $25-$30 for a five quart jug.

The best of that is, there is nothing the high dollar oil can do that any of the major synthetics cannot do. Oh wait, yes, there is--it can drain your wallet faster.

Signature is available starting at under $38 a gallon and warranted for 25,000 normal miles, 15,000 severe service miles or 1 year whichever is first.

Thanks blnewt, and I really dig your profile pic, my favorite band, saw them nine times including once with front row seats.
Rush was my first live concert in a arena. Seats were really far back but still awesome.

Which is fine. In fact AMSOIL has the new and improved certified API SP and has been using that formulation for quite a long time. Remember, the OEM warranty only covers manufacturer defects and not oil related failures. This is why it is important that you select an oil which warranties all lubricated parts against oil failure, in and out of warranty, which of course AMSOIL has for 47 years with no issues.
Are all Amsoil oils API certified? If not, which ones aren't?
