You.
Magnificent.
Bastard.
The real magnificent bastard is whoever picked out Rick’s outfits for that video shoot. I’ve listened to that entire song like 3 times today, blaring out of the Jeep with the Sunrider open. F*ck I’m old.

Just to be a lil' clearer. A few months ago, the execs admitted that they were closing down the lines that make the hellcat and 392's and those engines would be absent come 2024. This article just hyped it up a lil' more and made it seem like it just happened. The 392, for all intents and purposes, should be in the 2023 Wrangler for one more year.
So does this mean there will be 392's with the refresh and without floating out there? Perhaps this is some evidence 2023 won't be the refresh but it will in fact be 2024.

I think everything mentioned is possible. Speculation is fun, but we will know regardless in a few weeks or less. I plan to order June 15 and hold faith for a refreshed 392. If not, all good :)

No one except for a person or two that is tied to Stellantis actually knows the answer to this question. My guess, and this is only a guess from someone that knows EXACTLY as much as you and everyone else here, is that they will keep the same grill through 2023. We've seen no mules testing with a new front-end, or drivetrain, ANYWHERE. They have phoned people like myself and said we are moving your 392 V8 order to 2023 if you wanna keep the XR package.

Literally everything you read on these boards, my chatter included, is 100% SPECULATION.

June 15th may or may not answer some of these questions.

Well said, we will find out soon enough! Fun to speculate though : ) My gut says moving guys like you into 2023's isn't going to mean a new interior and front end. Just doesn't jive.

Not I , you, or anyone gets a 392 for the grill or interior. All we know is there will be 23’s, after that they aren’t telling (or haven’t determined) So get your 23 and enjoy! ? oh yeah, and change the Renegade grill if you get it and don’t like it.?

I really like the grill. I really think it looks modern!

Then if not available for 23 I’m sure you could likely retrofit when they are, with plenty of takers willing to swap. I don’t like the look but would live with it if it flows more air.function over form.

Here’s my list for June 15

1. New Colors, who doesn’t like options?
2. 392, I want to replace my Jeep with what I had, but would consider used if it’s axed for 2023.
3. Seats, they just need to change the geometry of the seats and add electric adjustments for lumbar and thigh extension.
4. uConnect 5 with 10” Screen, it’s 2022 and after using the current MBUX system, I can say uConnect 5 seems obvious.
5. New grill, I really like the new grill but to keep the purist happy I think it should be optional for the 20th additions and then see the response to decide if it should become default going forward
6. Better interior lighting, it’s a Jeep and I know there’s not your typical roof line but if they thought through the interior lighting a bit more I would be happy on those dark camping nights
7. Break hold, i’ve always like this future it would be nice to have but not sure they would add it due to Off-roading mishaps... it would at least be cool to turn it on and off in uConnect 5
8. 360 Camera, doesn’t need to be as advanced as the high end luxury cars but would help with a vehicle this size in the city
8. 4.88 Gearing and 37s with a 1” lift over current 392s. I would love the factory warranty and not having to replace much
9. Fox 2.5 option, less likely but again factory warranty would be cool
10. Just like car manufactures stepped up with audio systems and even Ford added many more options available to the bronco I think of Jeep took advantage of at least offering more options like sliders, lighting and bumpers it would be really cool but at the same time they can barely get these things out of the factory without all these options so I don’t see that happening at least for 2023

Things I don’t care about

1. Heads up display, My new car has it and to me it’s nothing special.
2. Autonomous driving, adaptive cruise control is all I need in a jeep
3. Cooled seats, would be nice to have as an options but not necessary
4. Major refresh, I love the current JL design. I’m just looking for some new colors and the entertainment update

You're point 5 is really interesting. An option would be a great compromise. Although I foresee them jamming the design down our throats! haha

Clickbait , 2023 392 is 100%.
We will be getting 23 info soon then all the people who guaranteed the 392 was discontinued will disappear or start rolling out the excuses. I also believe will have it for 2024 but there’s no sense in arguing about that now we have a year for that. Let’s just focus on 2023 for now. Lol

I think you misunderstood what we're saying. We know for a fact 392's are for 2023. We're speculating on if the 2022 and 2023 392's will in fact be DIFFERENT due to the refresh. No one here thinks the 392 isn't for 2023, a lot of the people here have 2022 orders converted to 2023's.
