Any particular reason you went with the high prifile over the low profile? I would think the low profile would create less turbulabe and wind noise at highway speeds.

Sure would be nice if Jeep put pop outs on those rear quarter windows. It would take next to no re-engineering to do so.

I'm afraid OP's hardtop is ruined. Too bad.

I think an air dam or small spoiler type thing above the front windshield would change the characteristics of the air flow to help eliminate the buffeting. I had a mini Cooper that I couldn't even open the sunroof on because the buffeting was insane, I put a set of crossbars on the roof and it stopped completely.

Why don't you get a soft top? The 2 door would be so much funner with the soft top. IMO.

I miss mine. ?

I wonder if you could have a glass shop drill the hinge mounting holes in a JT hardtop rear glass? (they all come with manual sliders) Not sure if the glass is the exact same shape or not tho.

Try one vent open forward, with the other vent open rearward. Don't know if it will help with buffeting, but it will create a flow to vent the back quickly. As someone who had those in my sleeper in an OTR semi, AND as a former mailman, I have a LOT of experience with those. It's too bad that they didn't work with the panels off, or the windows open, but the volume of air that can exhaust through those is a LOT less than the panels or windows let in...
