I have a seen a few write ups using one of the points for an antenna or flag. I will eventually review and incorporate a firestik quick disconnect to attach a flag we use between two wranglers and our beach cart.

Anyone have some extra money and want to see if this would line up with the three holes circled in red by the original poster? About $160 but if it works and does not mess with the Mopar antenna mount sign me up... Google "GP HD Hinge Accessory Mount". let me know what you think..

Seeing as it mounts flat, I'm going to say it won't work. I tried the teraflex mount and it is also flat but did not clear the antenna holder.

Did you take any pictures by chance? I am to the point I will modify anything to get something to work.

I had to notch my high-lift jack mount to fit around the antennae point. I also had to spec custom bolts because the ones that came with the tailgate reinforcement were not long enough to also hold the bracket. I haven't found a use for those other threaded holes.

Does your Jack and or mount rattle? I liked the teraflex because both supports went through the jack. I find when I support the base and the jack with only one bolt they tend to wiggle a lot more. I've had to put a peice of wood to put pressure on the jack mechanism.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯
We're about to hit the fourth JL model year and Mopar still hasn't come up with accessory mounts for this?

I did get in touch with the GP Factor company and they stated that their mount will work on the JL BUT does run into the Mopar antenna mount location. I would guess similar to what the Teraflex highlift mount did for Toycrusher.

They did say that a revision for the product could be in the future but no idea on the timeframe.

With all this said, I am going to order it, cut, cuss, cut, file, bedline, and pray. I will post pictures once I get it in on what it looks like before, during, and after my attempted mods.

Stay tuned and please wish me luck!

Mine hasn't rattled. I keep the upper and lower clamps pretty tight. Occasionally some rattle from the handle but it's just held together with some velcro.

I got a similar plan. Got the GP factor hinge mount. Just waiting for the Mopar tailgate reinforce to be delivered.

I am planning to mount my recovery board/maxtrax on the hinge mount.

would appreciate any feedback or photos from your install.

After about 5 round of modification/cutting/trimming got the GP factor mount on the JL mopar tailgate hinge.

Mounted 2 set of TredPro as I already got a Trailrax for the Rotopax mount.

Can it be done without the Mopar reinforcement or another brand reinforcement without major modification? I can do some cutting and welding but I’m hoping it’s small garage friendly.
