Did you double check that all the pins are seated properly in the connectors? This part of the process seemed like the most susceptible to errors.

I’m going to go back and check again, but I did try and try to make sure when installing.

I have the Mopar aux switch, factory installed. My question is far simpler (dumber) than those here. I want to hook up some radios, but need to know where the aux switch power wiring is located. I'm hoping I don't need to pull the dashboard (or center stack) out to access it. (The JL User Manual didn't seem to provide much help).

Thanks! I found the cable, and identified the wires. Now my next question (hopefully the last): Where are you picking up a good ground connection?

I’m going to go back and check again, but I did try and try to make sure when installing.
Did you ever get this resolved?

I'm encountering the same issue where the pins/wores have power under the footwell/kickpanel, but when I test the pins at the connector for the buttons I get nothing.

Note: I've yet to have it flashed.

Nope.. I deployed out overseas... going to try checking it all again when I get back and then suppose go to the dealer to try another reflash

I hope to take her in for a flash this coming week.
If they don't work post flash then I may take the blow to the pocket and have then try to diagnose, as beyond a damaged set of wires for the buttons (all of them) and/or faulty switches; I'm at a loss.

I'll post up with any steps that lead to a solution. Hopefully soon.

If you've installed the aftermarket kit but haven't got it updated yet, I don't believe you'll get power to the buttons.

After taking it to the dealer for the flash or updating it with something like the tazer, you should get a response.

Mine did nothing until the dealer update.

Thanks for the reply.

I've been hearing conflicting information on this and I'm REALLY hoping this is what turns out to be the culprit.

Appreciate the help!

Get yourselves the Tazer JL at least . It will allow you all to do the flash yourself. https://amzn.to/2GKyW7b

Also. When I did my switches. I never got power to the buttons etc. It turned out I didnt properly set the pins right behind the switch panel. Make sure you push them all the way.

That's one of the next things that will be bought for the Jeep. Right now though, I just havent gotten around to doing it.

As a quick follow up, I just got back from the dealer. Took longer as I had some other warranty work to get done, but the good news is it was indeed the ECU flash. all buttons now have power.

Uconnect has yet to update with the new code and display the settings screen, but I see the code is added on the Mopar site for the right VIN, so hopefully that comes soon.

Just got done with my install today . I didn't take the time to read all the posts but I am thankful for all of those who did post in mentioned fuses. I reprogrammed with the Tazer. Everything came up on the screen, but the buttons would not light up. And I checked under the hood. I found that the inline 5 amp fuse with the kit had blown. Most likely this happened during me installing because as you know, unless you disconnect the auxiliary 12-volt battery you still have power. So I think I must have crossed some wires at some point in blown it.

All good now!
Where did you find the inline 5 amp fuse? I have finished my install and I have no power to my switches - thinking it might be this fuse...

With the dealer/self installed Aux switches, youwill find a fuse on each individual Aux wire itself.
