Hoping someone can help.

I've finished installing the Mopar Auxiliary Switch Panel and I know I need to visit the dealer to flash the ECU before I can fully use them.

But should they at least light up when pressed (i.e. indicate power) before the ECU flash?

Or, are they completely non-operational before the flash?

Thanks

They won't light up or be operational before the flash.

Thanks for the confirmation.

I did work a bit more it and confirmed the pins weren't an issue on the two footwell connectors. I triple confirmed by using a multimeter to check power at the pins (each side of each connector) as well as a power indicator at each end to avoid having to remove pins, etc.

I did find no power at the inline 5amp fuse on the harness in the engine bay. This lead me to fix a bad ground in the engine bay and after that I started reading power at the inline fuse (5amp) on the harness.

Still no lights...

Then I pulled the front console and found that the wires are seated, but I don't have power at the console connector end.

That console cable is separate from the main harness until it hits the engine bay.

Short of a bad set of cables (for each pin), I can't think of what would cause this. I did make sure and test the pins using alternate grounds other than the black pin.

Hopefully the dealership is able to flash the jeep on Tuesday and I'll have lights. I'll follow-up then.

Just got back from the dealer. Took longer as I had some other warranty work to get done, but the good news is it was indeed the ECU flash.

Uconnect has yet to update with the new code and display the settings screen, but I see the code is added on the Mopar site for the right VIN, so hopefully that comes soon.
