Hello All,

I'm hoping someone can help me. I installed the Mopar Auxiliary Switch Bank in my 21 JLU today, and I programmed it through JScan. After doing so, the switch bank has no power. I triple checked my installation and wiring - it's fairly simple. I'm wondering if anyone else has done this install and had the same issue and was able to correct it? Any assistance would be appreciated. I have a $350 part sitting there not working as well as the light bar I have wired to it. Thanks!

Not sure on Jscan. But it takes two sleep cycles to lock in a sales code on Tazer.

I’m hoping that’s the issue. Can’t see it being anything else.

You were right on with the sleep cycle, but that usually doesn't need to happen with JScan when you restart the ECU. However, that wasn't the issue. There is a jumper wire that needs to be installed as part of the kit. It's an orange wire from one of the body harnesses behind the passenger side kick panel. The plastic connector Mopar gives with the kit doesn't allow for a firm connection between the wires. I ended up just hardwiring it and bypassing the connector and it's working perfectly.

Glad you got it working, and good to know. Mine finally shipped, so I’ll be doing it in the next couple weeks.

It's an easy install - worst part is fishing the wires through the grommet in the firewall. The rest is a breeze.

@mferrara91

That orange wire / connector has caused a few guys here a headache. Jumpering as you did was an easy remedy..

For other's that read this thread.... each of those 4 Aux switches in regard to that non factory install has it's own fuse holder/fuse on the harness and NOT fuses in the PDC like the factory installed Aux.

Also, if all power seems out to your non factory install Aux switches, do look for an inline fuse ( not one of the 4 Aux fuses but another) that has blown or is missing altogether. No fuse or blown fuse and you will find all Aux switch lights out/Aux switches not working.

Yes, @GATORB8 ...... for activating Aux switches.... JSCAN support recommends two, again 2, ECU restarts immediately after enabling. Same same if you use a Tazer JL.
