Mopar Auxiliary switch install question

Has anyone done this install yet? I watched all the videos and was successfully able to do everything except the removing the 5th pin so i can switch to the kits. Wondering if theres a trick im missing.

Removing the pin from the connector is an art and none of the videos gave any details as to how. I went to a friend who does electrical work and he showed me.
