What I wouldn't give to know what the constraints were that they had to design the clutch the way they did so that they couldn't pair it with the 2.0. The thing is I know enough about engineering to know that there was probably discussions probably lengthy discussions of that and I would love to have been the fly on the wall to hear them.It's not that the 3.6 makes too much torque but that the 6MT's clutch can't handle enough torque. It slips and gets hot and fractures because the design is stupid and they reduced torque output during certain scenarios to give the clutch a chance to not slip.
