At their highest they are...stock cherokee height. Sure, it's not low for a car but that's low...especially on a JL forum.
Just because its low relative to the almost exclusively needlessly compensatory lifted Jeeps around here doesnt mean its low in general.

Far from low? A 1.5" lifted impreza has...6.5" of ground clearance. Not low compared to most cars, but pretty damn low compared to
most crossovers. Way low compared to even the cherokee at 8.7" of clearance. Even the forester is close stock at 5.9" and it's a station wagon.
A Crosstrek Wilderness has 9.2” of ground clearance. Only 0.5” less than a JL Sport.

Nah, the 2.0's coolant leaks out the Y pipe on the driver's side of the block where Jeep forgot how a torque wrench works. It's the 3.6 you're thinking of that eats its own coolant internally.
No the 3.6l eats it's own ROCKERS and CAMS.

Yes, i'm sure you can pull up some examples of 3.6s with internal coolant leaks but the 2.0 is the king of the coolant issues in the Jeep lineup.

It's so fun to finally be a member of a forum where we argue spiritedly over which engine has which list of serious issues. This is very new to me.

Roast me if you want but the 2.0 sucks. It may be peppier, but I live at 6000' and love my 3.6/8AT on 4.88s and 37s - plenty of passing power even on the uphill grades. I've rented so many 2.0-equipped wranglers when traveling for work and I don't know how anyone can stand how god-awful that thing sounds. Is everyone coming from Nissan Versas or something?

The 3.6 is burbly, sporty, and feels appropriate for the vehicle. Paired with the 8 speed auto, it's downright aggressive and sometimes even pops on upshifts. The 2.0 feels like they've transplanted an econobox powertrain into a half ton truck.

I guess not many care about the driving experience beyond just pure butt dyno feeling. The real shame with the JL in 2025 is that it seems like the design is fundamentally incompatible with the new 3.0 Hurricane. That would really wake the Wrangler up.

Less options typically equal less sales, which equal less profit. Jeep may not be around in a couple of years.
Jeeps been going out of business for like 20+ years now ... might as well just become a mattress store with how long that signs been up out front.

The 2.0s coolant issues are external though - oil cooler, Y inlet pipe, and seeping reservoir. 3.6s have been losing it between the head and block into the cylinders themselves lately, likely due to head and block separation or warped heads breaking the gasket seal.

Hey i'm with you on every one of these points. But the 2.0 boys will be along momentarily to tell you you're factually and scientifically wrong.

Nah, I came from a Gen 1 3.6 with 4.88s and 37s and I wanted a Jeep that actually went instead of just making noises and pretending to go down the road. Drop a decent cat back on the 2.0 and it makes fun woosh noises when you boot it.

Jeep is the Unclaimed Freight of the automotive world. I don't know if this is a national chain and I don't really care either but here in PA we have these furniture stores called "Unclaimed Freight", and they "go out of business" once a year. Been that way my whole life.
