The 4:10s help a bit but its a strong engine that Jeep agrees should be the standard one offered it seems.I gotta say: @yokramer and @Remorseless were right about the turbo. It sounds like shit, but it’s peppy as fuck. I live at 7,000 feet and the difference between it and the Pentastar is startling.
Sometimes I swear the official power numbers are lower than what it's actually producing.I gotta say: @yokramer and @Remorseless were right about the turbo. It sounds like shit, but it’s peppy as fuck. I live at 7,000 feet and the difference between it and the Pentastar is startling.
Shh, don't tell them that. It goes straight to their heads.I gotta say: @yokramer and @Remorseless were right about the turbo. It sounds like shit, but it’s peppy as fuck. I live at 7,000 feet and the difference between it and the Pentastar is startling.
Oh come on. Haven't you read the endless threads where people swear the drop in power at altitude isn't noticeable in their naturally aspirated Jeeps?I gotta say: @yokramer and @Remorseless were right about the turbo. It sounds like shit, but it’s peppy as fuck. I live at 7,000 feet and the difference between it and the Pentastar is startling.
Naw we already knew we were right. This really changes nothing.Shh, don't tell them that. It goes straight to their heads.
Mostly the little head thoughShh, don't tell them that. It goes straight to their heads.
As someone who drove Pentastars at altitude every day for six years, and then made the switch, I can tell you those people are full of shit.Oh come on. Haven't you read the endless threads where people swear the drop in power at altitude isn't noticeable in their naturally aspirated Jeeps?
Yes, the Beavis & Butthead of JLWranglerForums were right all along.Shh, don't tell them that. It goes straight to their heads.
I did it for 2 years and agree:As someone who drove Pentastars at altitude every day for six years, and then made the switch, I can tell you those people are full of shit.
