When my lift was done by a shop they didn't install the extension anti sway bar links.
I did this the other day but the bar seems to be riding high.
Is this normal?
Also I get a bit of rub from the tires when aired down and flexing, should this be?

It looks like you don’t have very much lift especially in the second to last picture ? The MC links do run a bit high, but those look excessive…..

The Metalcloak sway bar links for the 3.5” lift are about 12” long. I have run them on two of my own jeeps and I have several friends that I installed them on and none of us have rubbing issues. They look like they are in the proper position. As far as the rubbing, I would look at a few things. First, Metalcloak recommends a minimum back spacing of 4.5”. What is the back spacing of your current wheels. Next, your springs look a bit bowed to me. Have you confirmed that the axle is properly centered. I am running 38” tires with the same lift and no rubbing.

The backspace is 5.72in and the offset is 25mm.
Just had the alignment checked and all was ok I was told.
Is there a way that I can check this myself?

5.72 inch back spacing is pretty deep. What size tires are you running? Are you using stock wheels? If not what width? Is your lift a 3.5” If your axle comes back centered it might be due to the back spacing. I didn’t see any back space requirements on the Teraflex website. It might be that you either need a wheel with 4.5” back spacing or less or, If you like your current ones a spacer can push them out enough to clear the links.

Once you confirm your axle is centered and properly aligned evenly on both sides the only culprit I can see is the back spacing. There is a reason Metalcloak recommends a minimum of 4.5” back spacing. If you like your wheels, I would add 1” spacers effectively giving you 4.5” spacing. That should eliminate any rubbing. Otherwise I would look for a wheel with a minimum back spacing of 4.5”. Good luck.

I measured from the upper spring perch to the axle tube both sides, see pic.
Also measured from the frame to the tire lug see pic, tire sit to high to get proper measurement from spring perch.

I'm thinking the axle isn't centred, see pic. unless I'm doing something wrong.

There’s a couple answers in those pics….MC end links are to long because you got around 2” of lift, not 3.5” and your axle looks to be shifted to driver……

Is there a better way that I can measure axle centred?
I'm thinking the antisway bar end links are rubbing the same on each side. If the axle wasn't centred wouldn't they rub more on one side?
