When my lift was done by a shop they didn't install the extension anti sway bar links.
I did this the other day but the bar seems to be riding high.
Is this normal?
Also I get a bit of rub f

It’s normal for the MC links to cause the sway bar links to ride high. It’s down that way on purpose to prevent flipping the end when fully flexed.
Looking at the photo closer I see a big bow in your spring. That shouldn’t be there. Something is not set up right.

Yup, up is normal. What wheels are you running? I can rub the sways with +18mm full stuff full lock.

Yeah, you're a little closer than me.

At least pull the washer off of the tire side of the link, I didn't notice that the first time I looked at the picture.

@James57 Following Roky's train of thought in the other thread. Looks like you're running the MC links on a TF lift. Which shocks are you running?

MC links are designed to take 30"+ of shock extension. You may want to go to a shorter link than the 12.25" so you don't rub.

MetalCloak uses the same length swaybar links on their 2.5" lift as they do on their 5.5" lift. So, if you have one of the lower lifts your swaybar is going to look like it is riding high at ride height.

I can do that, just seemed not right to be putting the inside nut against the antisway bar. Thinking of galling.
