I mounted the harness above the bumper to avoid water. Also my breakaway is mounted inside the bumper with the part from the rv going through an opening, just so it’s harder to catch on anything.
It’s normal for the MC links to cause the sway bar links to ride high. It’s down that way on purpose to prevent flipping the end when fully flexed.
Looking at the photo closer I see a big bow in your spring. That shouldn’t be there. Something is not set up right.
I have them, with armor, on my 21 JLURD with a 3.5 MC lift and 37 tires. Both the wife and I love them. Also had them on my 2016 JLUR. Sometimes in cold weather with snow and ice they can stick but a kick will get them free. Makes it so much easier to get in and out, check the roof, etc...
Another thought is the metal cloak lift. They make ones specifically for the diesel. You can go from just a few items to a complete lift with springs, shocks, control arms, drive shaft and more. You can start out simple and add more as your tastes and needs change. They have 2.5 lifts on up...
I did a similar thing. I used: Brandmotion FullVUE Rear Camera Mirror for Jeep Wrangler JK/JL - Gladiator JT FVMR-8886 Touch Screen Mirror/Backup View | Always-On Dash and Rear Cam | G-Shock Sensor | Waterproof l HD 32GB Card.
It mounts right up to the factory mounting holes. The mirror...
Not only for water. Here in the southwest trails can get very dusty. A high mount air intake, preferably with a pre filter, will keep the Jeep air filter much cleaner preserving it. I run the AEV snorkel with pre filter. Its position is such that you can’t see it from the drivers seat.
I have the MC 3.5 with the MC shocks. Runs great both on and off highway. I can do 85 on the interstate and do Blackbear pass equally easy. 2021 JLUR diesel on 37.
I have the PRP. Overs in my hydro blue JLUR. I ordered the covers in blue and black with texture. People think they a stock factory, they look so good.
Check out Metalcloak. They have various lifts for all models of the JL including the diesel. I’m running their 3.5 in game changer on my 21 JLUR diesel.
Trip from Albuquerque via Creede and Stony pass to Silverton then over Ophir pass and Imogene to Engineer then back to Silverton and Albuquerque. Three day trip with camping along the way. 22.1 mpg overall. 21 JLUR diesel on 37 and 3.5 lift. Stock gearing.
Rigid males a backup light harness. Allows you to have the aux backup lights come on automatic with the regular backup lights, off or manually on. I mounted the switch to the left of the steering. The lights are mounted in the LOD rear bumper. Works great.
A properly seated filter is important. I found out that it needs the proper torque also. 18 ft pounds. I got he light after an oil change and driving for about 8 miles. Back home loosened the filter and retighten it then used a torque wrench and it took almost one more full turn to get the...
May have been answered but how do you open or remove the cover over the rear view mirror mount on the black box the is over the ACC stuff on the windshield. I can get he lower part to pop out but the top doesn’t want to come out. Don’t want to do something stupid and break it.
I also have the forward collision and adaptive cruise control so the housing is much bigger. So far no aftermarket replacement mirrors work with it. Also haven’t figured out how to get the mirror out without breaking something.
Interesting. But I’m still looking for one that’s compatible with the SOS/assist function. The Brandmotion says not compatible. The Wolfbox is much wider than stock so would interfere with the visors.
