Lasfit will lock your hood and work with the trail camera.

Nobody knows everything. I would have answered this question less extensively if not for Anthony's post @ACAPECE https://www.jlwranglerforums.com/forum/threads/bolt-hood-lock-hate-the-look.124421/post-2597742 (thanks.) (Check out this entire thread.)

From what I can see from installation videos the integration of its manual hood opening pull cord might require its own dedicated hole drilled thru the firewall for manual transmission owners who lack the plastic grommet in the firewall under the steering wheel that does nothing on automatic transmission Jls.

Then there's Bolt products. They'll match your JL key and get positioned on the front grill, which can be tricky for those running front trail cameras. https://www.boltlock.com/locks/jeep-hood-lock

Then there's aftermarket locking latches, complete with their own (another) key.

I actually have a Chinese knockoff that I bought on ebay years ago that's worked out fine, and is basically the product from Bolt before Bolt could release their product: rumor has while Stellantis was delaying Bolt on this trying to establish their presence in this space:

Edit: /i see others have before me referenced the LasFit product....

Oooo I kinda like that though. My wife asked if we could slow down on jeep parts for a bit so I guess I'll just have to install slowly...
Just proper wording needed- getting the tires rotated, 33’s rotated off, 35’s rotated on, getting the differentials serviced, 3.73’s serviced out, 4.56’s serviced in, insulting the exhaust, stock insulated off, AWE insulated on ( does have extra insulation) , is your hood functioning like you want it too ? ? Trying to think of one for the new ordered wheels now ?

Getting the scratches on the wheels fixed?
Not bad— except I am keeping them in case I ever want beadlock capable and she will know it, this is a tough one.  I could tell the truth that I am eliminating 40 lbs of rotational mass and unsprung weight but I’m not sure she will get it,
besides …. telling the whole truth could become a bad habit. ?

I'm in the same boat. Went with the Rugged Ridge latches and enabled the hood alarm in the Tazer Mini JL
