I am looking to add a 2.5 to 3-inch lift kit to my 2024 4-Door Willys. My primary goal is to comfortably fit 35 to 37-inch tires while maintaining a smooth ride, as I do not plan to use the vehicle for trail riding.

I’ve noticed a significant price variance in lift kits, even among those from the same manufacturers — with some priced between $500 and $800, while others are in the thousands. I’m unsure which option would be best for my needs and would appreciate any recommendations or guidance you can offer.

Why such a big lift if you’re not going to offroad it?
Just want to fit 35-37" tires without an issue. Feel I can fit 35" now but it looks so much better lifted.

I would check out:

Metalcloak
Clayton
Rock krawler

They all seem to get great reviews.

Best of luck with your lift.

Depends what you want to spend. I can highly recommend Clayton Offroad Overland 1.5 kit. Includes all the control arms and track bars so you can dial in your alignment. Matched with Fox remote shocks tuned by Accutune, the Jeep rides almost as good as my Grand Cherokee on air suspension.

If you want smooth ride this is the kit is go with and the included fox 2.0s are great. You can go budget end but you'll end up with your stock shocks with extensions limiting travel, and axle that's off center, poor control arm angles and caster, etc. This kit addresses all of those issues that less complete (and sometimes just as expensive) kits don't. This kit also includes sway bar quick disconnects in case you ever do want to wheel it. The more expensive kits will replace all 8 control arms. No need at this height, especially with the front control arm drop brackets.

If you just want to clear larger tires, check out a spacer lift, such as this one: TeraFlex JL 4dr Rubicon 2.5" Performance Spacer Lift Kit with Shock Extensions

That is for a Rubicon, so confirm which one you will need for your Willy's.

With a spacer lift, you get to keep the stock springs and shocks, preserving the stock ride.

I would add the Mopar 2" lift lower control arms to the spacer lift. This will push your castor back to maintain the stock riding feel.

You can spend more, but if you're not going to offroad, I don't know why - unless you just want that bling for those who look close enough.

I don't think you can go wrong with AEV. It's priced right. We overland ours, rock crawl with it, and tow with it on 37's and it handles it all with ease! Do you give up maybe a little flex compared to other lifts, probably, but it still handles the tough trails. The best part for me is it's maintenance free.

Are these spacer lifts like the old body lifts?

I have seen a lot of people recommend the AEV.

Ultimately I am fine with the stock ride, I like the looks of it lifted and I want to put 35-37" tires on after. Do not want to give up too much of the stock drive feel.
