Glad it worked out. People always list the dealer, it's the sales person and mentioning the forum that gets the "deal". From everything I've read, in person will be just as smooth as emailing with Craig and purchasing remotely. Fingers crossed out 4XE arrives sooner than later.

Just ordered my 4xe today (Sarge Green Sahara w/Sky One-Touch). I shopped between 4 dealers in Northeast Wisconsin. I'm getting ~8% under msrp, as follows:

MSRP: $58,055
Discount: $4420 + a $250 Chrysler rebate of some sort, totaling $4680 off (~8%)

Dealer fee: $399

It's not the 10% some of you are reporting but this seemed like a fair deal and my wife & I are excited =)

Realizing from reading most posts, forum members are traditionally financing their respective Jeep purchases. The above is the lease calculation for Virginia (VA charges full tax upon purchase).

My question, specifically for those who have previously leased an EV or PHEV (Volt, Leaf, Tesla), where in my calculation do I input the $7,500.00 tax credit? Yes, I realize because I am not purchasing I do not directly get credit from government. The lease holder receives the credit. But I cannot imagine Jeep going against the grain of Chevy, Nissan and Tesla and not passing most, if not all, of the credit to the lease purchaser.

Depending upon if the $7,500 is treated within a lease as a dealer discount, a manufacturer incentive, cash rebate, down payment, etc., my monthly lease payment drops to $488.83.

How did they take it off Cap Cost? If a dealer discount, then the Total Purchase Price is lowered along with all the taxes calculated from TPP. IF manufacturer incentive or cash rebate, then the TPP is lowered, but the taxes are calculated before subtracting $7500. If treated as a down payment, then I just subtract from Base Cap Cost.

Also not for nothing who is in charge of marketing or customer service. STILL NO PICTURES OF THE SAHARA, How hard may I ask is it to put a picture of a car that is literally on the production line, costing them orders. How hard is it to put a build and price online to stop all the confusion with this car, its a win win situation. Why may I ask can't you get the black hardtop??? its a money grab for sure. Also this is for all FCA vehicles, How hard to put an online portal to allow you to check order status? It would save customer service agents time and customer too. WIN WIN. Love the car but just seems kinda insane to me! Anyone else Agree?

I was told they are rolling out the Rubies first so they're probably not giving any attention to the Sahara crowd. Short-sighted I agree.

That's what I'm seeing. Any idea the up front financing fees and APR? I already have the cash so I might do the loan and pay it off the next month to save the $1k.
