I put a Diode Dynamics 30" amber light bar on the rear of my JL using their hinge mount kit for similar reasons. It's a static light but I really like the way yours is configured.

Will give it a try. Fog on the way to the mall was my biggest worry. 😬

I hear you all about the glare on the hood. Flex Era 4's might be overkill as ditch lights, which I was thinking of. Mostly I have some extra unexpected money to spend, but no particular problem to solve other than experimenting. My 2-door JK will get the hand-me-downs.

It's the drving/combo ones. Also I could add another pair of the D2's in-between the D-SS's. That's another alternative.

So I have a pair of Rigid D2 side-shooter lights mounted to the bull bar of my Arcus stubby bumper. Works fine, but I keep thinking I'd prefer to switch to LP6's for the stellar light output. I'm just concerned that the LP6's mounted on the same Rugged Ridge X-mounts will stick up too high...

If you need it inside the Jeep while traveling it's only going to go lengthwise, maybe hang it from inside the roof? Outside with a RTT I can only think either strapped to the side of the RTT, on top of the RTT, or vertically on the tailgate alongside the spare tire, like traction boards.

If your Jeep is otherwise perfect except for the color, you could wrap it any color or pattern you want for less money than the costs to trade-in. I'd recommend against hydro-dipping it though.

So is that ARB Snorkel then certified for installing on a 4xe? (I mean, nothing modified for the hybrid 2.0L turbo engine interferes with installing it?) Also, what is the weight of the vehicle with all that installed? Thanks.

I suppose there are benefits to that rig in very specific use-cases, but because its a trailer and the tow vehicle isn't similarly protected they're violating the first rule of defensive combat, "get out of Dodge" before relying on all of that. Still, if you have the loose cash just laying...
