It did have the stubby rugged ridge factory steel clone. Body shop said we could sub any bumper and just pay difference in cost. That being said I like the look of the poison spider bruiser. There were no options out when we got the first bumper. Any input on front bumper options?

Poison Spyder is a great brand, I have their fairlead on my winch, but I’m a LOD fan, I went their destroyer shorty, they also have a mid and full width version, and you can use the factory fogs.

I’m weird about vehicles after they’ve been wrecked. I’d try and talk the body shop into totaling it out by at least going through it with a fine tooth comb adding every last thing. It’s worked for me before.

Good luck man on whatever you do! You’ll be covered! I’d still go get checked out.

/agree on every point and was just talking $hit about the ‘horrible’ crash ratings e.g. look at this $hit, she’s lucky her Toyota whatever didn’t meet head on with that winch and bull bar...
Anyway, especially agree on the glad you and your peoples are ok! I have been in a couple accidents that ended up in totaled vehicles, initially i was pissed, but in reality, its a vehicle, you and your family are hands down more important.

The body shop is a client and we send all of our company business his way. If he says it is safe I believe him.
I was leaning towards doing everything I could to total it, more I look at it if they make it %100 will be happy. We are just so lucky everyone is ok and thankful she did not have a passenger.

Totally understandable and your call! Like I said I’m just weird about it because I start to think about resales. Even though I plan on keeping every vehicle I get forever it never works out that way haha

Yes she was alone thank goodness young girl 21 her legs under her knees got scraped but she walked away as well. Her parents were out of town and messaged my wife thanking us for being really nice to her.

The airbag picture got me wondering, what would of happen if the Data Plate in the link below was attached? What about decals being placed in the same area? I'm sure the airbag would rip right through it but I don't think id want to be hit in the face with a piece of "ABS plastic/stainless steel".

Good call @SABLE RHINO that looks awesome, but would never place it there after seeing where the airbag deploys. Have a Bartact bag on the grab handle and it was not an issue at all.
