I CAN FIX THATI do understand that that 4xe badge has a little bit of chrome in it, but honestly I'm not a big fan of Chrome at all.
But yeah Chrome is not really my thing. It's a little too shall we, in all of the wrong ways.
I should note too, I'm not really huge fan of advertising what my engine is in the vehicle on the vehicle. That being said, I think the only time I would ever advertise that it's a diesel Wrangler, is if I ever find a way to do a inlaid cut out lettering on the hood I might write diesel on there at some point. But that project is so far away, that's one of those things I'll do when we have a house and I'm bored one summer, Start cutting into a cheap hood I buy from a scrap yard.I CAN FIX THAT

The factory badging is cool and all, but it's kind of nice people not knowing what's under the hood. I figure diesel fans will figure it out pretty quick, even with the quiet sound. I'd rather like the underdog mentality.
So basically you went back to OEM tire size the Willys comes with without the XR package. Not bad.I recently performed a MAJOR fuel efficiency increase in regards to my Willys XR.
Went from those dastardly 35” BFG’s to some P265/70R17 Mastercraft Glacier MSR snow tires (31.6” OD).
Benefits include:
Before (not kool)
- Less rotating mass
- Better tracking
- Lower replacement costs
- Looks so fucking kool
- Net axle ratio change from 4.56 to 4.96
- Increase in odometer reading due to baloney skins
- Did I mention it looks so Kool?
