Next you gotta get the dummy door that looks like the charge port to go along with your new badging.

I was looking at one of those on AliExpress yesterday, but to do that I'd have to remove my driver side ditch light and mount, and I'm not sure I want to part with those just yet. Though someday in the future I think that would be hilarious as well!! ;)

Why not just screw another bracket into the side of the jeep for the light? :giggle:

I don't know how I feel about that weld, but I've been looking into finding dimensions on a lot of these Suzuki Jimny mods. At minimum I could always drill another hole in the Wrangler and use this.

When I was about 20 I bought an air horn set and mounted it on the front right quarter-panel. That meant screwing into the panel to mount the horns AND making holes for the air lines. On my extremely long list of stupid shit I have done that probably ranks in the top twenty. That’s saying a lot, as I did something stupid at least a few times per week between 16 and 26.

Now I can’t bring myself to put a hole in any painted surface for anything. The mere idea of doing that makes me anxious, because it trashes the value of the vehicle so quickly.

can someone make a 4xe hybridization kit with the charging port panel replacement and badges? I think it will look great on a 2 door, I can paint my tow hooks.

That is true, you are not wrong.

Maybe my case is a special case scenario. It has been my goal since before I purchased my Wrangler to keep it for my entire life. And my goals for it even in the next 10 years will look nothing like it does right now. That includes truck bed paint coating on the exterior. That right there alone is a large reason why I don't really care about my paint or my vehicle's value. Their only thing I really care about the Wrangler is that I don't kill it. As long as it can still run and get me to and from where I need to go, I am more than willing to drill as many holes as I need to in it or want to I guess technically.

My last vehicle, the Jeep Patriot I had, I owned it to sell it, and it sucked. I wanted to do so many different things to that vehicle but I couldn't because I had to think about resale value in the end. That's why I had decided when I sold it, that my next vehicle was going to be the vehicle I would have for the rest of my life. Doesn't mean it's my last vehicle, but it does mean it's my baby, AKA my favorite child.

When the only downside is more things to do, which is the whole reason why you purchased the vehicle in the first place, then there are no downsides.

By the time I die, every single part of my Wrangler will no longer be original, right down to the motor and all the wiring, body panels included.
