Doors Off...

As a former avid Motorcyclist who is surviving very hot and humid conditions running the doors and top off, I would like to offer the suggestion/idea of adding Highway pegs for the front seats. Mountable, removable highway pegs. That is all.

Anyone ever see a thread where a tire threw a rock or object threw a person's foot? I love to drive my naked jeep barefoot, but I rest it on the edge of the frame, out of reach of the tire's projectile path. I always think about the what ifs and a rock hitting my foot or going through it is always at the front of my mind.

I've also driven my naked jeep, naked and barefoot. Picture to prove it. Lost a bet with the wife while at the local brewery and ended up driving the naked jeep home 20 miles butt ass naked. It was pretty freeing experience.

This thread is goofy AF ……. Pegs and mirrors for us, don’t think it’s goofy if you use them…. And no, nervous Nancy, it hasn’t hurt my door hinge in 5 years running them probably 75% of the time in the winter months……..but I’m not standing on them either….. ?

As a current wrangler and motorcye rider I like the idea but. My wife would get really really mad at me for trying to drag the pegs around corners. But it sure would be fun trying.

I actually was asked by someone who had never ridden in a top off doors off wrangler if they needed a 5-point harness. My reply was something along the lines of "It's not a Motley Crue drum kit during a concert. I plan on keeping all 4 wheels on the ground."

I seem to have found that keeping all 4 tires on the ground at the same time improves traction.
