Looks good to me?‍♂
Anything else get changed?
2.5 ton CabFab tie rod and drag link. Fox ATS steering stabilizer, metal cloak ball joints and Clayton adjustable upper front control arms. (Now all 8 are Claytons).

I tried changing the settings on the steering stabilizer and it seemed a tad better than when I had it turned all the way up. But it still seems like it’s wondering a lot. Like our Jeeps drive in high winds on the highway without the wind.

The only thing I can think of doing at this point is bring it back to the shop and ask them to drive it on the highway. Maybe they can see what I am talking about.

All that changed at same time? Definitely not the sway links?. Maybe alignment?

yes. The first shop left the toe out and the second shop found it. Unfortunately, it still drives like this. Very frustrating when upgrading all those components and then having it drive like this. I can tell there is no more bump steer at least.

You mentioned a bubch of new parts, and maybe I missed it, but… have you checked the trackbar bolts being torqued correctly? Did you upgrade the trackabar and/or use a relo/reinforcement bracket at all?

I’ve read here in the forums (from people who know a lot more than me) that loose trackbar bolts or OEM trackbars with lifts can cause sterring issues and even death wobble (issues you might be masking with your ATS being set at the stiffest setting).

As others have already said check your trackbar! Also check tire pressure and maybe have someone else verify the MC ball joints were properly installed...These have adjustments to make, set screws to tighten and would not be the first time someone improperly installed ball joints.

Try without the stabilizer. Maybe just my experience but mine drove better without a stabilizer than with a Fox. Felt like the stabilizer was too strong and didn’t allow for small steering corrections on the highway. Put the stock one back on and no problems. Dissapointing because the Fox look cool but ??.

I run Metalcloak and love there stuff but felt the original links they provided were binding with all the flex the suspension system provides.
Definitely appreciate the sentiment. We now have HD Premier Sway Bar Links as options on our kits... as well as available on the site separately... here is a link to the JL/JT Kit.
