Looking at the Rubicon Express 2” spacer lift. It has shims as pictured here instead of longer end links. Anyone done this? Other than cost, why do it this way? Anything to worry about?

That just seems all wrong.
I agree, something doesn’t sit right with me. Most other kits include a longer end link, or move the rears to the front. Wonder what the rational is? End links are cheap.

Nothing inherently wrong with putting in spacers and moving the sway bar down. The problem with this is the gap above the bushing, the sway bar is going to deflect a lot and wear that out really fast.

These are what I’m running, rk no limits end links, they’re specifically made for the rubicons electric sway bar disco. And they fit 2 to 4 inch lifts........:)

I’d never do the drop sway bar brackets in the front but the rear is no big deal. The rear sway drops in that Rubicon express kit look a little suspect.

Keeping it higher saves it just that little bit from rocks, no?
