I've mailed my 1000 ninja ECU, and it works fine, but I definitely prefer to have the programmer in hand, I will wait till motor ops comes out with one, I really like the ease of it. And I have 5 different tunes that takes less then 3 mins to change on the fly, from Eco tune, to full on race tune, tow tune, ect. Just wait, there will be options in the near future.NO ONE offers a programmer for the 3.0 Ecodiesel. The encryption hasn't been broken on it so they can't program through the OBD 2 port. The only way to program the ECU is to physically remove it from the engine and directly program it. I know Banks and GDE (Green Diesel Engineering) have tunes for it, but you have to either take the Jeep to them or mail your ECU in for programming. GDE offers an exchange program, where you can put a $750 deposit down and they will send you a programmed ECU and you send them your old one when you get it and they refund your deposit. That said, that is for the Gen 1 3.0 ecodiesel and I'm guessing it will be a while before they have a tune for the Gen 2. I'd wait to get one until the tune is out to avoid EGR soot issues.
