Draining DEF

Between my mileage (only 5K/year) and the brutal AZ heat, I’m concerned that my DEF runs the risk of getting stale in place. I should probably just fill the tank halfway. Is there any easy way to empty my DEF tank? Is siphoning possible?

I don't see why you couldn't siphon it. Maybe try something like this.

Empty tank would be more likely to crystallize.

Tried putting a tube down the filler neck - it has the siphon proof obstructions. I guess I'll just let it burn off over time.
