Doubt Jeep will cover it. But for $100 my insurance covers mine

I feel your pain a bit. I test drove a rubi back in 2021. It was an extended test drive aka I kept it the weekend. I drove off the lot and o to the highway and a couple miles later got popped.

I had a Jeep Cherokee sport only 3 weeks old, POW! Something smashed into the windshield so hard chips of glass shards were on the inside of the dash. About 2 weeks after that, a hit & and run at a 4 way stop.

This damage is pretty much explicitly not covered. It’s really not worth trying to guilt them into doing it for free.

Mopar warrants your windshield from damage associated with road debris such as pebbles or other small objects which may cause initial damage larger than a US quarter (1 inch/25mm) and less than 3 inches/7.6 cm. Larger instances or smaller blemishes, along with the subsequent cracking that may be caused by not repairing them, are not covered by this warranty.

Good luck, you basically have to have stars align to get it. For me, I even had a rep at @JeepCares reach out to a regional manager above the dealers, and my dealer still refused to even try to replace my GG under warranty for a thermal crack caused by the defroster.

What windshield? Look further up in the warranty coverage for the gorilla glass. It was not dealer installed.

The only thing that would have been more satisfying than watching the crack spread would have been if right as it was done spreading you slammed into the guy in front of you because you weren't paying attention.
I would have found that very gratifying and I'm not ashamed to admit that.

OP's (@Deki's) windshield cracked 85 miles after picking it up from the dealership. You didn't quote anyone with your response, so maybe you were talking about someone else.
