I built a 2021 Rubicon and 2021 Bronco Badlands, both 4-door and optioned the way I would order to be built; the Rubicon was just over $63,000 and the Bronco Badlands just over $57,000. The only difference was Rubicon was body color hardtop and the Badlands was molded in color gray hardtop (the only hardtop available for 2021 model year). Almost forgot, the Rubicon had the rock slider with step assist, which was not available for the Badlands, so that accounts for a thousand dollars difference in price.

Your not accounting for the dealer mark up that will occur when these things first come out. That at least makes up the difference.

Excuse my ignorance: will Bronco offer a front locker?

Badlands does. And other trims but not sure which. I was only looking at badlands. I wanna say sasquatch adds that but I don't really know...

Squatch package is the only way to get the lockers I believe, and the Badlands comes with it by default.

Which to me is a huge selling point because you can buy a completely basic version and still get 35s and lockers off the lot. Ford has always been awesome offering their off-road packages on whatever you want to buy instead of forcing you into other crap like Toyota and Jeep have.

Yes, standard on Badlands trim; as far as I can tell, Badlands has most everything standard or available as the Rubicon, except for Badlands IFS.

I think that's a pretty dumb statement. The 392 is probably gonna land somewhere in the neighborhood of 65-70k, at least in the form they're currently offering it. I just don't see people (like me) cross shopping a 30-40k bronco with a 70k wrangler.

A limited availability, $75K vehicle isn't gonna stick any forks in the Bronco.

Wow! Almost a full month went by without any post on this thread! Yeah I’d say the Bronco is pretty much dead on this forum now.

Well if we're being thorough no bronco for now.
Actually, I was teetering on moving forward anyway so I doubt it. The late or possibly NO availability of those things removes functionality and aesthetics I wanted. The whole thing has lost it’s appeal enough for me to not add one to the stable so for me I’m no longer interested.
