I did think this with my '18, but in my experience (though not as much as many here, admittedly), plans change. Good and bad things happen when you least expect them. I'm selling my '18 Sport S after four very fun years, but for many reasons, I'm moving on from something that I initially...
It's also typically populated with people making apologies for weird and overpriced stuff.
It's human to become attached to things, so yea, do what you need to do. But these special editions ARE getting pricey and just kind of strange.
As others mentioned, a beach/sand-themed jeep... that...
I've done the switch every spring and winter since having my '18, so about 8-10 total times back and forth.
Most of the soft top hardware can stay installed, and those plastic side frames that come in lots of pieces just get assembled into larger (and fewer) pieces.
The toughest part for me...
lol yea
I'm not super tall, only 6 feet, but one of my relatives has a Countryman and it's blast to drive but also, well, mini haha
I'm somewhat solving that by getting a convertible. Having a jeep has shown me the awesomeness that is having a convertible vehicle, and I just can't see myself...
I don't have an unlimited data plan, so I don't stream from my phone, making the 5/month Sirius a pretty nice option.
I mostly listen to sports talk, too, and not really the music channels.
I'd probably still do it for 7/month, but anything beyond that and even I would say nope.
I like Sirius, actually. You can now get them down to the 5/month plan by just chatting with them online for a few minutes. In the past you had to call and it was a pain for sure, but now it's so easy and you get so many channels, might as well.
Honestly, I agree: it's really the market that's to blame. And frankly, the consumers that apparently buy enough marked-up vehicles to signal to dealers that they can keep doing it.
It will quite possibly keep you more protected in terms of body damage to the jeep, but it's still gonna get to your frame and end up costing you time and money.
Little bumps on the trail or something? Yea, it'll be great. But steel's not gonna magically make the force of a mild collision...
Well, at least for me, the dealership experience is one factor in why I'm going to be moving on to greener pastures soon.
I've LOVED my JLU for four years now. The vehicle itself has been an awesome experience, and I'm so glad I tried it. Never owned a jeep before, but I took a shot and just...
Don't overthink it and just go with a soft top. Yea, jammers and bikini tops and all that are cool and will give a bit more overall open space on the beautiful days, but the first true storm you have to go through with just a bikini top... yea, you'll be wishing for the full soft top again lol...
Hey all! I've been checking out the list and hopping around the big seller sites, but any recommendations for aluminum front bumpers (mid or full)?
I like a more subtle look. So far I'm looking at the MP Concepts aluminum front.
