Installed a couple complete sets of powerstop Z36 and can't say I notice any difference over stock.
What I did find is wherever they source there seals and rubber boots from is garbage. Next time you need brakes you will find the seals a shot and the rubber boots have deteriorated or are gone.

That's exactly what I said to myself too.
I knew they needed break in time, and I believe the instructions had me do 3 hard stops, which I did.

But even after 2 years, it was such a let down.

Wheel Pros says it has acquired TeraFlex, a designer, manufacturer and distributor of aftermarket suspensions, shocks, and other components for automotive and off-roading enthusiasts. Wheel Pros says Mark Falkner, TeraFlex’s founder and chief financial officer (CEO), Benjamin Falkner, president, and Ian Falkner, vice president (VP) of organizational development will remain with the combined company.
When a company gets bought it is most often for one of 2 reasons:

1) Expand their product offerings, acquire improved tech and increase the size of their business footprint.

2) Kill off their competition, cherry-pick any of their dominant products, and rename them for themselves as new and improved!

I call Powerstop and ask what was special about there brake calipers
I was told they are factory calipers rebuilt with factory parts and painted red
That's when I decided to pass on Powerstop brakes and go with Teraflex delta brakes and I am glad I did
I am going to sent Teraflex and email and ask about part availability and if they are going to discontinue there delta brakes

PowerStop Z36 will help on a stock jeep like my wife's Rubicon
Not to start a pissing contest, but highly doubtful. Why? Because a stock Rubicon cannot lock its wheels even in stock form--the issue is the lack of clamping power which has nothing to do with the pads.

You don't have to call them, its transparent and on the site. I knew it going in, just got a heck of a deal.
But I don't know where they are getting there rebuild parts from because the rubber doesn't compare to OEM.

Just got this back from Teraflex about the Delta brakes

Taylor Black (Teraflex)

Hey Larry,
We are all still here. I just call a different guy "Boss". Thats all. We have no intentions of discontinuing the Delta Brake system, we have plenty in stock, and you should not have any concerns about
product availability. We will be having these brakes for the foreseeable future.

So I've been looking at options for new brakes.
Why isn't there a middle ground for brakes?
It's either the cheap powerstop or teraflex, wilwood brakes. 2500 is a bit steep.
Is it ok to do just teraflex front rotors and pads?

The factory brakes are just to small if you do any mods like tires or weight
Yes you can just do front Teraflex and also add Z36 pads on the rear
Depending on your jeep This combo may work very well

Yeah, brakes are one of the areas that are relatively expensive, unfortunately. Short answer, yes you can run just the front Deltas or Wilwoods. I'd certainly do that rather than one of the cheap BBKs out there.

YES, pads are the stopping power.

EBC Pads are the best I have ever run and they have just come out with a new one for Jeeps.

I am going to order a set for my 2024 JLR-X and I have them on my F 450 Heavy Duty truck, makes a major difference and also ran them on my JKR. Great improvement!
