The closeup of the jack saddle shows a set screw. If that saddle comes off you could either grind it flat and weld a spring perch on it or make up another piece to adapt the perch to the jack. I'm a little skeptical about a set screw for doing off road work. I'd be tempted to look at welding the perch and jack together.

I couldn't resist. I had to have another jack. I ordered one from the same seller. Looked pretty cheap compared other sellers.

I am using a plastic cradle meant for a Hi-Lift. Had to modify it, but it fits perfectly.

Yes. I’m beginning to think you may have the same problem as I do, trying to find that Goldilocks jack. Let me know what you do as far as mods.

I’m going to order that Jack/jackstand combination set up. I like that the vehicle rests on a solid jackstand instead of just Jack hydraulics.

@roaniecowpony this just arrived. It is unused in original packaging. There is a roll pin holding the small cradle to the ram. The base is approximately 4-1/4 inch square.
