I wanted to post some basic stats to give an idea of what's involved.

Last night's run tried to extract build sheets (and subsequently window stickers) for 1,879,813 potential VINs from the current scope of 127,076 sequence numbers (that number usually increases after each run). I've extracted 68,662 build sheets and 50,076 window stickers from those sequence numbers / VINs.

That's over 1.8 million hits to jeep.com for build sheets plus over 18k hits for window stickers for every run.

They eventually blocked me, but I worked around that and have dialed back the number of threads significantly (256 down to 50). It now takes almost 4 hours, but that doesn't really matter in the big picture since I now have it scheduled to run once per day.

It was only a matter of time before they blocked it. I’m glad you found a workaround.

Any data on the SOT Jeep builds...after reading over all of this, that is the only option I am guessing that is holding up my 1/3 build 158085

They don't seem to be a problem as far as I can tell. There's a three day gap in overall window stickers that had me confused, but apparently they didn't publish any window stickers at all over that period.

Note that SOT plus grab handles, however, seems to be an issue. Grab handles for the SOT are apparently specialized and I do not see any build sheets with that combo. I ordered some grab handles for my SOT-based JLURD from mopar.com a few days ago and the order was cancelled the next day.

You're the closest sequence number to Jan 1st so far and have updated this spreadsheet with that info. Thanks.

It’s possible they won’t even let you order it. I know when I went to place my order I wanted the soft top window storage bag, when my dealer tried to add it, it said it was on restriction. So they could just be blocking certain accessories from being added.

It makes me wonder how many things were added in the beginning, but now aren’t possible to get, so orders are just going to sit forever. It would be nice if Jeep would notify dealers of situations like that and let you make an adjustment if you want.

Of course, this is just pure speculation on my part.

Excellent points. Hopefully they're preventing those problems from becoming significant issues.

Here are the statistics with the addition of this morning's extraction of build sheets. This is using the sequence number ranges that were provided here.

MonthBuild Sheets% Overall% of Month
Oct10,97314.688.5
Nov10,45713.979.8
Dec25,69934.279.1
Jan19,21425.662.4
Feb5,6057.524.0
Mar780.10.0

Note that my analysis of 200k of sequence numbers in the middle of 2020 showed that 14.7% of those sequence numbers never got build sheets.

I noticed on the jeep configurator that it won't let you add the window storage bag on the 3.6 M/T but it will on every other engine/tran combo. I did order the storage bag with my 3.6 m/t on march 5th and the day i ordered the configurator didnt have that limitation..

My build has been in I status for 19 days and counting. I am guessing the XR package is holding it. Just a guess now. My build is JLUR XR loaded.

I am wondering the same. Did they offer something in Oct-Dec orders that just isn’t possible to get now and that’s holding them up? Seems odd that they can’t finish the last 1426 builds for Oct but have over 5000 builds already for Feb orders.

also this is amazing work Ratbert ?

Another question for Ratbert Software Development: Now that you have more data, are you seeing any more of those odd "Jeep Beach" editions? One of our theories a couple weeks ago was that XR parts were possibly holding regular orders up. Mine got through the Mopar Shop in a week and a half, and all those Beach editions have to do the same. What do those numbers look like?
