I was in the boat of wait as long as possible to get the recall because I already am on my second pump but the time came in the form of a letter from my insurance. They donāt like insuring cars with active safety recalls. I will say the dealer did it in half a day (same one that swapped out my...
Diesel #2 doesnāt seem to exist in San Diego anymore. Everything is either R99 (renewable diesel), B20 biodiesel or Chevrons here have some sort of mix that is B20 mixed with renewable? I try to stick to the R99.
It happened to me but stopped after I replaced the oil and filter again. I think itās really easy to damage the threads on the filter if you donāt seat it perfect the first time. Wish they would just make a metal filter.
Where is the sensor located? Is it able to be knocked as you replace the...
Ok. I always take a second before I turn off the engine with it in Park to see if a āRegen in Progressā message appears but never seen anything until this.
I finally got the message telling me to keep driving a regen is in progress coming home from work yesterday. For those wondering it is not a subtle one time beep. The message came up on the dash and stayed. Then every time I even slowed down a bit it chimed again to ākeep drivingā. Iām at...
So I was an unlucky one that had theirs go at 4700 miles. Now Iām at 12k and new pump has been fine. Mine was made end of Feb ā22. When it failed I just lost the accelerator like I ran out of gas. No jerking or shuttering or anything. I actually feel lucky it went before any of the recalls...
Iām still adding the EDT as well. Even if I happen to use B20. Iāll have to check out the app. They just put a 76 in by my work. Chevron has an app with good kickbacks also.
Here is a new one. Its Renewable B20 at Chevron. So 80% Renewable biomass diesel and 20% biodiesel.
Also to follow up from earlier post. Everywhere around me now that advertised āDiesel #2ā but had the orange sticker now changed the signage to āRenewable #2ā or R99. Must have just been...
My recall also showed up in my Carfax info that the dealer signed me up for when they replaced my first fuel pump. Going to guess selling it on the used market would be tough unless like some said a dealer is willing to buy it and sit on it. But if a dealer is willing to do that to me it shows...
This showed up in my Jeep app after I updated it. I like the term āmayā have a faulty pump even through the model by design is faulty. And a āvoluntaryā recall to get around they have no idea how to fix it. I had my original pump grenade and the fix was putting an identical P# pump back in along...
Ya Iām still trying to fully understand ha. This picture helped explain it to me. So basically itās refined liked petroleum diesel but the crude oil is plant based. Next time you fill up look to see if there is a little orange sticker by the pump mentioning ābiomass basedā diesel.
I directly asked my dealer about how an after market lift would affect the warranty because I was debating it too. They basically said if you are lifting it similar to the Mopar lift specs they would honor the warranty. So if you are only doing around a 2.5ā lift for 35ā tires it would be ok...
For the last year diesel was move expensive then premium. Now everything has switched to renewable #2 in San Diego. Skepticism about the new fuel aside the price is no longer attached to petroleum prices so itās now $0.20 under regular :)
I know that drive well but from San Diego. Definitely got better mpg on the way home. Iām only have 2.5ā Metalcloak lift on 35ā Nitto Ridge Grapplers but I got 26mpg overall on our last trip. The wind direction in the stretch between Vegas and Mesquite makes a world of difference on the mpg.
First thing in the morning mine is always 80-85psi for the first mile of driving or so then it drops. Usually ~30psi on freeway then 20psi at idle warmed up. To note, I previously had a low oil pressure issue so I spent a lot of time monitor the pressure ;)
Was it the top rear corner of the door seal? Mine is doing that too. Finally tracked it today but have noticed damp spots on the seat. It seems to only happens during really hard rain which is not common where I live.
