What??? No steering issues, death wobble, paint bubbling, software issues, bad seats, bad welds, noise, leaks, won't start? You truly are unique.
Not entirely unique. I've had none of the above on my '18 JLUSportS.

Being the first year of the model, are there any issues that were fixed in later years? Are there any reasons to not buy a used 2018?
(FWIW there isn't much depreciation from 2020 to 2019 to 2018.)
With respect to @Dkretden David's earlier post, the 3.6L JL in 2018 will not crank unless either the ESS/Aux battery has a basic level of current, or, provided the main battery is adequately charged, you have a dealer apply PCM update TSB 18-092-19, or you bypass the ESS/Aux battery altogetehr with some easy wiring whose cable schematic I can refer you to on request.

This update, like in model years 2019 and later in the 3.6L, permits, on subsequent engine crank attempts on the operator's part, after the first failed one with the dead ESS/Aux battery, to switch to the main battery to attempt the crank.

Normally, in all model years, a test of the ESS/Aux battery is done in isolation, prior to the crank. If it passes--and it appears to be a lower threshold than that for an ESS event to occur--both batteries are connected in parallel to energize the engine crank. In fact the batteries are in parallel at all times, even during rest, but for ESS events and this instant prior to a crank.

This IMHO is not a reason skip a 2018 JL. As indicated there are dealer and DIY workarounds if the ESS/Aux battery goes haywire, which while not uncommon, is far more the exception than the rule.

I'm taking my 2018 in for an inspection next Friday. I have experienced death wobble on my completely stock 2018 with under 20,000 miles but the service department looked it up and said i have no recalls. Is there something else to have them look for?

My 2018 JLU Sahara is now 12 months old and it has been surprisingly trouble-free.

Hey Tex, you gave me a good chuckle with your post. I know folks have asked a thousand times about that thumbwheel. I have a fully loaded 2019 Sahara. A couple of times while in the Jeep at night I’ve said to myself, “alright I’m gonna figure this footwell/cup holder dimmer out”. I don’t care what anyone says, that wheel doesn’t do s**t! At least in my Jeep. I too have just said “ah the hell with it”.
As far as the OP, mine has also been trouble free.
It definitely does foot lighting in my Rubi

I think your safe buying a used 2018 if you check it out good and don't see any issues. THe only consistent problem with buy a couple year old Jeep is the re-sale value is so high, you might as well buy a new one.

My 2018 has been mostly problem free for 40,000 miles. The only issue I would even consider mentioning is that the steering is noisy but it’s imperceptible with the windows rolled up.

Every time I've changed tires the TPMS has had issues.

Does anyone have a gif for opening a can of worms?
Well I was going to say that I have a 2018 Sahara JL and other than a few minor issues and recalls, I had no major problems, but once I say that, DOH! I just said it, dang.... You know what will happen.

I have a 2020 Sahara that is a year old. I’m not an expert on welds but I don’t think these holes should be in them?

Wow Evan, those are some sloppy welds. I’m surprised being the welds are done by robots.

Sadly, “sloppy JL welds” is a thing on Google.

The robot welding JL frames is a flunky; it has been welding sloppily since day one.

Apparently, it wants be a cake decorator...
