How does a Dealer know if you didn't change your oil frequent enough? They have to prove the oil failed which can only be done by analysis. And if they do prove it, then it is the oil company's responsibility if they warrant it. I can't speak for other oil companies, but it has never been a problem with AMSOIL or an AMSOIL customer if 50 years.
If your engine blows, they do an oil analysis. They can also tell if you neglect oil changes, by the amount of sludge that accumulates inside.

The dealer will start with your service records. If they deny it then you will have to fight for it. Even if you are right and a oil company will support you, why would you want to go through this? How long would you be without your vehicle? How many headaches would you have over this? I like my life to go smoothly, I have enough problems already.

Exactly. That is why you should use an oil company that will pay parts and labor should their oil fail.

Again, if you use AMSOIL, they fight it so you don't have to. AMSOIL will pay for repairs immediately with no hold up on repairs, and then fight the OEM for reimbursement to AMSOIL. No fuss, no muss for 50 years.

This hit the nail on the head. Will amsoil fight for you? Maybe. But, I'm not ok being without my jeep for 3 months while the court battles go on. This is my daily. Yes, I have backup vehicles, but nothing I want on the road for months at a time.

Are you sponsored by amsoil? Serious question.

I'm a retired Shell Oil chemist and in retirement I sell AMSOIL, Wix, Donaldson and Mann products to thousands of customers. Probably sold over 50,000 oil changes without a single issue. I am not an AMSOIL employee. It is my own business.

AMSOIL users are cultish with their vehicles and maintenance, they’re not going to have engine failures under warranty.

BG Oil, and Transmission treatments have a very good warranty. You might want to check them out. I've heard of people that had issues, and they pay out quickly. Rarely do they have issues. I've used their tranny flush and treatment, on an older pickup, with good results.

Cultish? Most AMSOIL users I know follow vehicle and AMSOIL's recommendations. I have heard of AMSOIL users having engine failures under OEM warranty, but always the fault of the OEM parts and not AMSOIL.

Good. I see no advantage over AMSOIL and BG costs more and typically have to take it to a shop for BG service. I enjoy doing my own service unless Jeep pays for it.

I work for an oil company that supplies crude oil to all of these companies, so I honestly should be pedaling conventional oils and 3k mile oil changes lol, but I firmly support synthetics.

Royal Purple is another very good oil.
I won't run royal purple. I ran it in my Z06 and it burned it. Not sure why, just switched back to mobile one and no more issues.
