Hello,
Noticed this tonight when taking pictures of my alternator for a potential rebuild, it’s on the passenger side near the spark plugs, what is that beside the coil?

Thank you to the forum for all the great help so far with previous posts.:jk::jk:

On a Honda, I would say it is a spark plug tube seal. Have you pulled the coil off of the plug to see if the tube is full of oil? I had some go bad on my civic and I had to pull the valve cover because the seal is on the bottom side of the cover. When I started it after the repair, it made quite the smoke cloud for a few seconds. :)
