I'm gonna look up exactly what it says. What you just posted does NOT say "5 TIRE" rotation, that is what they use as their reasoning.

Whatever, your dealer's service dept. is lazy. Don't blame me for pointing it out.

What rotation pattern do you use for a 5 tire rotation? This is how I have been doing mine. I have done 2 so far, both around 5500 miles with the oil change.

As my BFG KO2s aren't directional you can swap sides as well as front to back to keep wear even.

This is the pattern that I use for five-tire rotation. To make things easy for the technician I use a chalk marker and write on the side wall of each tire where it's new position should be. This also makes it easy for me to check that it has been done correctly. For example, on the SP (spare tire) I would chalk FR and on the FR tire I would chalk RL etc.

I have tried the diagram before, but like you they didn't understand/follow it. Now I chalk each tire with the position it goes on to. Easy to check that they have done it correctly and easier for the tech to follow.

Great idea! I had the guys rotate my tires when the lift was installed.

I had marked the tires in red grease pencil where I wanted them.

The rears were opposite of what I had marked. I happened to see it while still on the lift and the guy says, "oh, the other left"! Lol,
