  1. TruckU today, who watched it?

I did, to me, it was very informative. Once you guys get the RPM hang figured out I am in for one!
  2. Poll: Did TSB 08-074-20 Fix Your Steering Issues?

That is my case. Dead spot still there, slightly better for wandering.
  3. New JL Steering Issue TSB 08-074-20 (for "Improved Steering Feel")

I had this done on my 18' Sport S, 3" lift and 285-70 17 tires. The dead zone is still there, the wandering seems to be less though. I was hoping for the dead zone to be eliminated.
  4. Fabtech vs Skyjacker

I have the Fabtech 3" lift with the Bilstein 5100 shocks. I really like it, a little stiffer than stock but still an overall good ride. Note that the Rear Track Bar Bracket has to be welded on. Only thing that stops you from doing the lift yourself unless you have a welder.
  5. Suspension swap labor cost how $$

$400.00 Labor and $100.00 for the alignment. The kit I got had to have the panhard bar mounting bracket relocated which required cutting and rewelding.
  6. Front Closure Panel Mod and Air Dam Removal

Thanks, I didn't use a Dremel, I used Tin Snips, fine grain Grinder Wheel, File and Sand Paper. I need to invest in a Dremel!:like:
  7. Got hit today

Be sure to get your Insurance to request the Diminished Value added into the repair costs.
  8. Front Closure Panel Mod and Air Dam Removal

I cut the Closer Panel / Close Out Panel that mounts at the ends of the Front Bumper. I cut them to match the backside of the Bumper. After removing the Closure Panels I didn't like the appearance of the back of the Bumper with the backside of the lights and wiring exposed. IMO this cleaned up...
  9. PICS! Before and After Lift Pics!

3" Fabtech with Bilstein Shocks. It did end up around 4" of lift.
  10. My new Jeep Wrangler (RC JK)

I ordered on line at Tower Hobbies ( towerhobbies.com ).
  11. My new Jeep Wrangler (RC JK)

Breakin' it in. Scuffin' up underneath, ordered some skid plates for it.
  12. My new Jeep Wrangler (RC JK)

Well it's not a JL...….only JKs are available. It's pretty cool, it is a Crawler, not a high speed RC. I'm in the process of building an obstacle course in my back yard. So far I've just got a few rocks and some wood chips to get over but more on the way for that. It's a hoot to play with and...
  13. Selling a set of wheel spacers

Got it, thanks. Not sure if I'm going that route but will keep these in mind.
  14. Selling a set of wheel spacers

    Are those Spidertrax? How much?
  15. JK Wheels on a JL?

I probably put over 10k miles with those on that jeep. The best part they were 1 size width bigger than the factory wheel and tires on the JL.
  16. Windshield wipers skipping

Just put PIAA wipers on mine and no skip. The original ones rubber hardened very quickly I'm thinking.
  17. JK Wheels on a JL?

Here's my old JL with JK wheels and tires. No problem what-so-ever!
  18. When did you do your first oil change.....?

That is nice to know that it would make a difference to you DanW, Thanks!
